A Harmony of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles

I really like (and use regularly) A Harmony of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles by William Day Crockett.

As the title of the book suggests, it is a harmony the United Kingdom and Divided Kingdom years of Israel, beginning with (it actually presents some preliminary references to earlier Scriptures, but begins principally with Saul) and ending with the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem.

The harmony presents all parallel passages in parallel column format (e.g., references to 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles will be displayed side by side). In the years of the Divided Kingdom, the history of Judah is presented on the left side of each page and the contemporaneous history of Israel is present on the right side of each page.

This book is NOT a commentary, though it does present a chronological outline of the entire time period in the front of the book, and a second, similar outline as one of the Appendices in the back of the book. The back of the book also includes an index correlating scriptural citations to page numbers in the book.

I do not study the kingdom years without this book.
